Clan Kyle was formed in 1989 (Anno Societatis XXIV) and the members of the Clan are composed of Cooks, Chirurgeons, Bards, and Brewers, with a few Heavy-Weapon (rattan) Fighters, Fencers, and Archers thrown in to make for a well mixed and laid back group of gentles.  It is largely a service and arts oriented household with members scattered through out the Known World of the SCA.

Among the members can be found many artisans who do needlework, sewing, woodcarving, scribal arts, and heraldry. Cahan Kyle is even a published author under his mundane name: William N. Kyle. If you want information on his books, click on the following link: Books by Kyle

Clan Kyle Cook Book Is a new addition to this web site. It is a collection of some of the favorite recipes used by Clan Members who cook events and some of the recipes we use at Clan Gathers or Camping. This Cook Book will be updated from time to time as the recipes are compiled from the Cooks of the Clan.
